Honest

Assalamualaikum Wr.Wb

The honorable ladies and gentlemen.
Praise to Allah SWT for his blessing day therefore we could be able to be here, for gifts and all great things which will not exist without the Almighty Allah’s permission.May healtiness andprosperity by Allah remainin Rasullullah SAW, our role model along with all of his families, his followers, the Muslims in all over the world forever.


Ladies and gentlemen.
One of the characteristics of aMoslem is being honest. One is not a true Muslim if he or she makes lie and cheat. Prophet Muhammad SAW. in his daily life is known as a person who is honest and trustworthy. Being honest is a very good character and beautiful in the eyes of God.

Our Prophet , Muhammad SAW once said:

“Verily, truthfulness leads to righteousness and righteousness leads to Paradise. A man may speak the truth until he is recorded with Allah as truthful. Verily, falsehood leads to wickedness and wickedness leads to the Hellfire. A man may tell lies until he is recorded with Allah as a liar.” (Sahih Muslim 2607)

Also verse which sounds:

And mention in the Book [the story of] Abraham. Indeed, he was a man of truth and a prophet.

Then in another section, which is also explained in paragraph 54:

And mention in the Book, Ishmael. Indeed, he was true to his promise, and he was a messenger and a prophet.

Ladies and gentlemen,
Honesty and forthright attitude will bring a person to get to the independence of the soul. For people who are always be honest, he did not feel anxious and afraid of anyone. What he saw would say what it is. There is no lie hidden and tucked away in the slightest.

People who are always honest, he will be honest to himself. Where, because of honesty, he is finally acknowledged the shortcomings and weaknesses. If a person is aware of the drawback and weaknesses, surely he had no overbearing nature. Thus, he will keep learning and trying to improve himselves to be better.

Ladies and Gentlemen,
I say it one more time that an honest person will not be afraid of anyone. If he have to face the danger because of his honest words, then he would not be worry. In fact, he is not hesitate to say what it is because the truth that he was carrying. Therefore, as a Moslem, we should always be honest, anywhere and anytime. In daily life, honesty needs to be applied. Let us show to the public that a Moslem always have a noble character.

Wa Bilahit taufiq wal hidayah, Wassalamu'alaikum warahmatulahi wabarakatuh
